Reauthorize LWCF

The Land and Water Conservation Fund has permanently protected nearly five million acres of public lands over the past 50 years, from our iconic national parks like the Grand Canyon to inner city recreation areas.

The program is not funded by public tax dollars, but instead through royalties paid by energy companies for drilling offshore oil and gas.

Every year, $900 million is generated from these royalties, but each year Congress raids LWCF to spend on other projects, and now they only have 50 days to reauthorize this landmark conservation program.

Tell Congress to reauthorize and fully fund LWCF now.
