Tell the House of Representatives to Restore Protections to the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge

The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge in Alaska is one of the most pristine and wild public lands in the United State. Unfortunately, the 2017 Tax bill opened the Arctic Refuge for oil and gas development, reversing decades of keeping the area protected. Drilling for oil and gas in the Refuge would devastate the habitats of dozens of species, including caribou, musk oxen, polar bears, snowy owls, and many more, and ruin a spectacular wilderness area. The Arctic Cultural and Coastal Plain Protection Act (HR 1146) would restore the protections the coastal plain used to have, once again prohibiting oil and gas development, and protecting this irreplaceable wilderness area.
