Stand up for energy efficiency

I oppose any revisions to the definitions of general service lamp and general service incandescent lamp. Undoing the January 19, 2017 standards will cost consumers money and waste energy. By 2025, the additional energy waste would increase CO2 emissions by 34 million metric tons -- the equivalent of the annual CO2 emissions of more than 7 million cars.

If allowed to take effect as scheduled in January 2020, the new standards will save twice as much energy as any other efficiency regulation in history.

I urge you to keep the 2017 standards in place.
