Stand up for science

EPA-HQ-OA-2018-0259; FRL-10004-72-ORD

The EPA's proposed rule would require the agency to look only at studies where the underlying data is publicly available, effectively blocking the use of long-standing, landmark studies on the harmful effects of air pollution and pesticide exposure -- which often involve confidential personal or medical histories or proprietary information. These restrictions would make it harder for the EPA to protect Americans from toxic chemicals, air pollution, drinking water pollution, and other health risks. I strongly urge you to reject this rule.
